Meet The Team
Michael J. Hunter is an entrepreneur and registered nurse that has held a wide range of
administrative and nursing roles in academic and community settings, beginning as a front-
line nurse and advancing to senior leadership positions. He has over two decades of
experience in special needs care, disease prevention, health promotion and education.
He is a Cultural Consultant with the MN Department of Health promoting awareness of the
Dementia’s effect on individuals in the United States West African Diaspora and a board
member of Residential Providers Association of Minnesota (RPAMN) a 501C6 organization
that is dedicated to informing, educating, and advocating for residential providers in
Minnesota.
His certifications include Metropolitan Economic Development Association (MEDA), Small
Business Entrepreneurship mini-MBA program and Public Health Nursing from Metropolitan
State University in Minnesota.
Michael is passionate about creating change within the healthcare system and giving others
the opportunity to thrive. He owns and co-owns several healthcare businesses in the U.S.,
including assisted living homes.
Abigail S. Wandaw is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Agape Home Health Care,
LLC and Co-Owner of Agape Healthcare Consultants and Management Group. She saw a
critical need for community-based services and has dedicated her career to helping fill that
need, and in the process became a successful entrepreneur.
Abigail’s desire to help aspiring and current business owners has roots in her childhood.
Abigail recalls helping her Mother, who had a small business by managing her account,
collecting debts and keeping her books. This inspired her to open her own business when she
moved to the USA.
While developing her businesses, Abigail has continued her education by earning her
License Practical Nursing certificate in 2011and her Associate Degree in Nursing from Florida
College of Health science in 2019. She has served on multiple non-profit boards and has
worked in several health institutions as a nurse and resource specialist.
